Trip to Va. Beach

We just got back from Va. beach and I'm happy to report that Josie walked BAREFOOT in the sand!!! (and loved it) This was a huge step (literally!) for the little lady whom a year ago would lift her legs up as high as they would go and scream as soon as I made any motion to put her down in the sand! On the car trip there, she kept saying (in her Josie voice) "I'm so EXCITED to put my little toes in the sand" and well, I had my doubts, but she did it!!! We had a great week with Grandma and Grandaddy despite the fact that it rained everyday except for the day that we came and the day we left. We spent some time at the local library and children's museum. I must also mention that it was Ada's first trip to the beach house and she enjoyed it, keeping her self busy by mastering her front to back roll-over.
