I have neglected to announce that Ada is finally walking! She took her first steps at about 14 months and then started walking full time at 16 months. And since then she has been squeaking all over town, leaving smiles in her wake!

Josie's Spring Break
The girls and I joined up with friends and family at the beach over Josie's spring break. The girls enjoyed playing in the sand, sticking their toes in the numbingly cold Atlantic, and a trip to the Aquarium. For pictures from Ben's spring break (we spent a long weekend at his parents' house) and another Aquarium trip see the pictures that follow the Easter pics below.

This was Charlie's first visit to the beach (and my first time to meet him). He's as cute and snugly as he looks!
Easter Feasting
We were blessed to celebrate Easter weekend with my parents - the festivities included coloring eggs (Ada was very frustrated that she could not play with these colorful "balls") and then having countless Easter egg hunts (Josie enjoyed the hiding as much as the finding). Thanks to Auntie Ginny and Auntie Lulu for sending us the Lamb mold - Ben was able to make a perfect lamb cake (on his third attempt!) and at Josie's insistence he made her an Easter beagle cake as well (like last years').
