Jude Smiles
We spotted Jude's first awake smiles at three weeks! And we finally captured a few on camera yesterday.
I also have posted a series of new photos from the last month below...click on "older posts" below to see all the new ones.

Jude Sleeps
After being around Jude for a little bit of time, Josie looked down at him and shockingly reported, "he's AWAKE!!!"...so, yes, there has been much sleeping going on in his first month of life. If only I could say the same for the rest of us!!!
Josie Graduates from PreK
Our "baby" is officially finished with preschool (she finished the end of May) and will start Kindergarten next year...can you believe it?!!!
Loving Berries & Cherries!
We have been picking up a storm of cherries, blueberries and raspberries! Thanks to Mindy for picking us up a few weeks after Jude was born and getting us out of the house for our first family outing to pick cherries! She managed to fit five car seats in her van (for Josie, Ada, Jude, Molly & Fisher)and away we went for a fun day in the beautiful cherry fields. We followed that adventure with three trips to pick blueberries and raspberries - enough for eating, raspberry jam, and a blueberry pie!
Come and See Me!
I love these first pictures of Jude and his "Auntie" Kristin. She came to visit this week and he flashed her his newly acquired smile! The following are pics of Jude with his Grampy, his Nana, his new friend Trygve (and mama Kristen), his Grandma, his Granddaddy, and his Auntie Amy & Cousin Christopher.
coming home!
It has been almost five weeks now since we brought Jude home and he is already so much bigger. I didn't realize that until I looked at some of these early pics of him. A big thanks to our parents for helping us out so much during these early weeks.
