Still Waiting...
Well, tomorrow is the DAY BEFORE MY DUE DATE...which with Josie and Ada, was the day that they were born! I'll let you know if this baby makes that pattern three for three or not. Until then, here is part two of my attempt to catch up on pictures since Josie's birthday (my last post)...you'll have to keep viewing "older posts" in order to see all the new ones.
We're ready for you baby L.! See below for two pictures of the knitted mobile that my mom and I have been working on - it is finally done and hanging!

I'm a Big Girl Now!
A little over a week ago, we moved Ada into a toddler bed in Josie's room. All my worries that these two ladies would have a hard time getting adjusted were for nought, b/c it took Ada only two nights to adjust to the change (she really loves her new "Big" bed), and Josie has enjoyed having a roomie to entertain in the mornings!
Trip to the Virginia Safari Park
A couple of weekends ago we took the girls to the Virginia Safari Park...the girls loved it and are ready to go back again! In the zoo section of the park, Ada fell in love with the goats and wanted to feed them, pet them, and give them hugs! She didn't want to leave them. We then embarked on a three-mile car trip and were visited by all sorts of extremely friendly animals.
Washington & Lee
We ended the day with a stop at W&L for some ice cream from Sweet Things and a tour around the campus.
Budgie-lovin'
Ben has taken the girls on numerous trips to the Richmond Zoo recently, and one of the highlights has been feeding the budgies (and giving them kisses!).

Waiting...
As we await the birth of Baby L., I thought I should bring this blog up to date...so here is part one of my update! (if you want to see all the new photos, you might have to click on "older posts" to see them all, since I am quite behind - as usual!) You might even get some more new photos tomorrow (in a part two of the update) if I don't go into labor before then!
April Beach Trip
We took the girls to the beach during Josie's preschool spring break (Ben joined the us, my parents, and cousin Anita on the weekend)...and enjoyed a week full of hot weather (record-breaking at over 90 degrees) and fun trips to the beach, aquarium, zoo, and playground!
Easter Merry-making
The girls have really started to look forward to holidays (especially since they have realized that holidays are usually accompanied by some type of yummy treat and fun activities!). They enjoyed dying eggs this year (thanks to a great tip from the Family Fun magazine, which suggested popping the egg into the middle of a whisk for easy dipping into the dye. Ben made the Lamb Cake, which is a traditional cake that his grandma Jo used to make. And of course, there were numerous rounds of egg hunts.
